Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Java Developer to join our Client Facing Technology (CFT) Team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining client connectivity platforms that service our Global Broking division.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop high-quality, scalable, and maintainable client connectivity applications using Java and other relevant technologies.
  • Collaborate closely with our Architecture, QA Team, Business Analysts, Product Managers, Project Manager / Agile Scrum Lead, Support Teams, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless integration and delivery of our platforms.
  • Work in a collaborative environment as part of a close-knit team to achieve our goals and objectives.

Essential Experience and Competences

We are looking for a candidate with:

  • Experience with building systems using FIX Protocol.
  • Experience with Java and other relevant technologies.
  • Experience with a scripting language such as Javascript or Python.
  • Experience with version control systems such as GitLab or GitHub.
  • Developing software using Agile methodologies.
  • Level 3 Support for Production systems.

Desired Experience and Competences

While not essential, we would welcome candidates with experience in:

  • Broking / Trading / Banking business domain.
  • Rapid Addition Platform or other FIX Messaging Hub.
  • Deploying and configuring applications running in Amazon Web Service (AWS) [EC2, ELB, EKS, AMI].
  • Experience with devOps technologies such as Ansible, Jenkins, Groovy, Teamcity.
  • Experience with database technologies with SQL.
  • Experience with messaging platforms such as Solace.
