Sales Engineers play a crucial role in the success of our company. We are seeking an experienced Sales Engineer to join our team and contribute to our growth.

About the Role

This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires a strong technical background and excellent communication skills. As a Sales Engineer, you will be responsible for estimating costs for every part and process, working closely with Purchasing, Production, Engineering, Projects, and sub-contractors.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Collaborating with the Engineering team on initial sketches
  • Preparing costings for projects from £200k to over £30 million
  • Working closely with the Sales Manager to respond to enquiries
About You

We are looking for an individual with significant experience in estimating complex, multi-component rotating machinery. A strong technical understanding and proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings are essential.

The ideal candidate will also have experience with ERP systems, such as Epicor, and be able to leverage case studies and historic costs for underpinning estimates. Experience with AutoCAD or Inventor 3D is advantageous but not essential.

A competitive salary of £40-£45k, depending on experience, is offered for this role.
