Role Overview

The role is part of our Agricultural sales team, which covers a range of agricultural commodities, including Coffee, Cocoa, and Palm Oil. The position involves supporting senior brokers and servicing a portfolio of clients while managing administrative tasks on the desk.

High performers in this role can transition into sales and/or analytical roles based on their suitability and performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as a sales and admin professional, upholding regulatory duties in the best interest of clients.
  • Develop an active interest in Agricultural products.
  • Perform administrative tasks to ensure the smooth operation of the desk.
  • Engage effectively with clients, efficiently entering and managing orders while minimizing errors.
  • Support senior brokers with administrative and client-related tasks, including client entertainment and travel.
  • Distribute information to clients.
  • Utilize computer and system skills to improve existing systems.
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures.
  • Pursue new business opportunities for the company or develop analytical skills.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements under the FCA and NFA.

Salary: This role offers a competitive salary of $60,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
