Job Summary:The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out specific cleaning and domestic duties, following set procedures and standards to provide and maintain high standards of cleanliness throughout the hospital and designated wards or departments.
Main Responsibilities:- Carry out general cleaning duties, including dusting, mopping, and vacuuming.
- Perform isolation cleaning and high-level dusting as required.
- Empty clinical and general waste bins and place bags in designated areas.
- Use cleaning equipment and machinery responsibly and within health and safety guidelines.
- Adopt a flexible approach when undertaking domestic duties.
- Basic numeracy and literacy skills.
- Knowledge of cleaning and domestic assistant roles.
- Ability to communicate effectively with a range of people and understand written and verbal communications.
- Ability to organize and prioritize day-to-day tasks.
- Ability to be flexible and adaptable to meet service needs.
