In this key position, your primary focus will be to:
- Prepare and serve high-quality afternoon tea, pastries, and desserts with passion and commitment.
- Maintain the highest standards of quality and presentation at all times.
- Ensure that kitchen areas, equipment, and utensils are kept clean and tidy to the required standards.
- Follow recipe specifications to ensure consistency of pastry and desserts.
- Set up mise-en-place accordingly.
About You
- You will have previous experience in a 5* luxury hotel with a medium to large banqueting and afternoon tea offering.
- You will have knowledge of chocolate work and an understanding of afternoon tea operation.
- You will possess good interpersonal and communication skills.
- You will be able to multitask and work under pressure.
- You will have excellent attention to detail.
- You will have food safety training and relevant culinary qualifications.
