Job Title: Community Lead

At Barchester Healthcare, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Community Lead to join our team of dedicated professionals. As a Community Lead, you will play a vital role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality care and support to our residents.

About the Role:

We are looking for a senior-level care professional with a proven track record of leading and supervising teams. You will be responsible for creating a stimulating and fulfilling environment for our residents, while maintaining their independence, privacy, dignity, and choice.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Lead and supervise a team of Carers and Senior Carers to deliver high-quality care and support to residents.
  2. Develop and implement care plans that meet the individual needs of residents.
  3. Conduct regular observations and record weight and blood pressure readings.
  4. Carry out simple wound dressing procedures and provide clinical care for residents.
  5. Build key relationships with residents, families, and external partners to ensure a safe and reassuring environment.

About You:

We are looking for a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual with a strong background in care leadership. You will need to have a Level 3 NVQ or Advanced Diploma in Health & Social Care, as well as a willingness to undertake the assessor qualification. You will be a role model for your team and someone our residents and their families can trust to provide a safe and happy environment.
