The Role

We are seeking an experienced Machine Operator to join our production team in the UK. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the efficient operation of our packaging machines, ensuring high-quality production and minimal downtime.

Main Responsibilities

  • Operate and maintain packaging machines to ensure optimal performance and efficiency
  • Perform product changeovers, including loading polyethylene reels, to minimize downtime and maximize production
  • Assist with the operation of the log saw as needed, ensuring accurate and efficient cutting
  • Identify and resolve minor issues and breakdowns to maintain production levels
  • Conduct quality checks on production and report any defects or issues to the relevant team member
  • Perform routine maintenance and adjustments to ensure equipment is in good working order
  • Support colleagues as needed and oversee the end-line process to ensure smooth production
  • Maintain high levels of housekeeping in the working area to ensure a safe and efficient working environment
  • Ensure adherence to health and safety protocols and procedures
