The Governors of St Bernadette's Catholic Primary School are seeking to appoint a well-organised and reliable clerk to provide effective and confidential administrative support to the governing body. This includes providing advice on governance, constitutional and procedural matters.

The successful candidate will be fully committed to supporting the Catholic ethos of our school and will have a strong understanding of the role of the governing body in supporting the school's management and decision-making processes.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Effective management of information in accordance with legal requirements
  • Confident taking minutes at meetings, liaising with governors and school staff, and working with the Chair to maintain the smooth and efficient running of the governing body
