About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Heating Engineer to join our team at Octopus Energy. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in the installation of low-carbon technology in customers' homes, starting with Air Source Heat Pumps.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work collaboratively with a team to install low-carbon technology in customers' homes, ensuring a high level of quality and customer satisfaction.
  • Stay up-to-date with new technologies and participate in training programs to enhance your skills and knowledge.
  • Use your expertise to deliver an exceptional customer experience, providing solutions to challenges and sharing low-carbon advice with customers.
  • Review and collaborate on technical specifications and mechanical drawings to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Work with an electrician to commission Air Source Heat Pumps, ensuring seamless integration and optimal performance.
  • Lead your team, taking responsibility for your crew and empowering them to make informed decisions to deliver exceptional results.
Requirements
  • G3 (unvented cylinder) qualification or equivalent experience.
  • Proven experience in the installation of boilers and a strong understanding of air source heat pumps.
  • Experience as a plumbing and heating engineer with knowledge of heating system design and fault-finding capabilities.
  • Full UK driving license with no more than 6 points.
What We Offer
  • Basic salary of £38,000 per year.
  • Overtime and on-call opportunities available.
  • On-target earnings of £45,000 + London weighting (if applicable).
  • Annual performance bonus of £2,500.
