Job Description
We are looking for a skilled Staff Nurse to join our Pre-Operative Assessment team. As a key member of the multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for assessing patient suitability for elective surgery. This role requires excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct pre-operative assessments for patients undergoing elective surgery
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient care
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients and healthcare professionals
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you should have previous surgical experience at Band 5 level, with a strong understanding of the pre-operative assessment process. Excellent time management and organisational skills are also essential, as well as the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Salary and Benefits
The estimated salary for this role is £32,000 - £43,041 per annum (dependent on experience). You will also receive a comprehensive benefits package, including access to ongoing training and development opportunities.
