About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Group Janitor to join our team, providing effective janitorial services to educational establishments in the Mintlaw Network.

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene within the schools, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for students and staff.

Job Description

The post holder will work closely with the Janitorial Team to support Primary Schools in the Mintlaw Network and Mintlaw Academy, adhering to the council's policies and procedures.

The successful candidate will have a strong work ethic, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • Experience in a janitorial or cleaning-related role
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to work flexibly, including morning shifts on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations and best practices
  • PVG Scheme membership or willingness to undergo a check
