At Intertek, we are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Technical Administrator to join our team in West Thurrock. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for coordinating and supporting the Goods In department, ensuring seamless sample reception, logging, and distribution.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and support the Goods In department
  • Receive and log samples, ensuring accurate and timely processing
  • Administer the LIMS system, maintaining accurate records and data
  • Prepare and organize samples for distribution to other sites
  • Distribute samples to labs on-site for analysis
  • Purchase and order consumables, handling associated paperwork, storage, and distribution
  • Perform general administrative tasks, including filing, archiving, and working with Excel spreadsheets

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in an administration role is beneficial but not required
  • Strong IT literacy skills, especially Excel
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Professional and responsible
  • Full UK driving license
  • Personable and customer-focused
