About the Role

The Crown Prosecution Service (CPS) is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chief Digital Information Officer to lead the Digital Information Directorate. As a key member of the Executive Group, you will play a critical role in shaping the Service's vision and objectives for the future.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record of delivering high-performing digital services in complex environments, with experience of leading delivery within both 'waterfall' and 'Agile' project management environments. You will be responsible for designing an appropriate and forward-thinking operating model to meet the CPS's future strategic ambitions, as well as defining and establishing a clear performance management process for the Digital Information Directorate.

You will lead the Digital & Major Projects Group, providing strategic leadership and decision-making to guide the Group and provide feedback and assurance into the Executive Group and CPS Board. As a champion of digital innovation, you will be responsible for driving the adoption of AI and other emerging technologies, and for developing the Digital Information Directorate's strategies and business plans that support the CPS's vision.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong appetite for creative and innovative solutions that align with the CPS's long-term strategy, and will be able to thrive in a customer-focused environment. You will be expected to build and maintain credibility across the wider Criminal Justice Sector, as well as within the CPS.
