About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Geography Teacher to join our team at Wayman Learning Trust. As a Geography Teacher, you will play a key role in delivering an engaging and broad curriculum that inspires a love for the subject.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lesson Planning and Delivery

Plan and deliver high-quality, differentiated lessons that cater to the diverse needs of students, ensuring they develop a deep understanding of geographical concepts and critical thinking skills.

Assessment and Feedback

Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback to support their development and help them achieve their full potential.

Curriculum Development

Contribute to the development of the Geography curriculum and resources, ensuring they are aligned with the school's vision and values.

Classroom Environment

Foster a positive learning environment that encourages student engagement, curiosity, and a love for learning.

Collaboration and Teamwork

Collaborate with colleagues to promote cross-curricular links and holistic education, ensuring a cohesive and supportive learning environment.

Requirements
  • Qualifications and Experience

Hold QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) and a relevant degree in Geography or a related field, with a proven track record of delivering outstanding teaching and learning.

Passion and Commitment

Be passionate about Geography and dedicated to nurturing a love for the subject in students, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
