About Us

Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust is a centre for radiotherapy, treating over 7500 new patients per annum with the latest technology including Versa HDs, RayStation treatment planning, a Flexitron HDR remote afterloading platform, I-125 prostate brachytherapy service, and Gamma Knife ICON.

 

Salary and Benefits

The salary for this position is estimated at around £60,000 - £80,000 depending on experience, skills and qualifications. We offer a competitive benefits package including annual leave, pension scheme, training opportunities, and more.

 

Job Description

This role will involve providing Medical Physics support to the radiotherapy department. This includes performing external beam treatment planning, dosimetry, research and development, commissioning, quality assurance, imaging in radiotherapy, medical physics advice, teaching, and other tasks as required.

 

Required Skills and Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have a Master's degree or equivalent in radiotherapy physics, relevant post-graduate training, and extensive knowledge and practical experience in main areas of radiotherapy physics.
