About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical and Mechanical Engineer to join our team at Windsor Food Machinery in Kent. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for installing, servicing, and maintaining various types of meat and food processing machinery.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Install, service, and maintain meat and food processing machinery, including on-site customer visits and overnight stays.
  2. Carry out refurbishments on second-hand machinery and equipment, including stripping down and replacing worn-out or damaged parts and components.
  3. Work under the supervision of our Workshop Engineering Manager, alongside a team of 4 other engineers.
Requirements:
  1. Qualified Electrical and Mechanical Engineer with extensive experience in an engineering capacity.
  2. Welding and fabrication experience is advantageous.
  3. Background in repairing machinery and previous experience working with FMCG or food processing machinery is beneficial.

  2. Overnight stay allowance of £100 per night, plus hotel accommodation and subsistence allowance.

  4. 20 days holiday plus statutory bank holidays.
  5. After 10 years' service, an additional week's holiday is given.
