Exciting Opportunity for a Level 3 Teaching Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join our team in a Year 2 class at a primary school in Pontefract. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in supporting the class teacher in delivering engaging and interactive lessons, providing one-on-one support to students who may need extra help, and creating a positive and inclusive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist the class teacher in planning and delivering lessons that cater to the diverse needs of students.
  • Provide individualized support to students who require additional help, helping them to overcome challenges and achieve their full potential.
  • Contribute to the overall development and well-being of students, fostering a love for learning and promoting a positive attitude towards education.
  • Collaborate with the class teacher and other support staff to ensure a cohesive and effective learning environment.
  • Help with classroom management and organization, ensuring a smooth and efficient learning process.
Requirements:
  • Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification.
  • Experience of working with children for at least 6 months.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A genuine passion for working with children and helping them succeed.
  • Team player mentality and a willingness to collaborate.
  • A commitment to continuous professional development.
