Job Description

This Truck and Trailer Technician position involves performing routine maintenance and repairs on heavy equipment, including trucks and trailers. The successful candidate will possess a strong background in mechanical repairs and maintenance, as well as excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct regular inspections of equipment to identify potential issues and perform preventative maintenance.
  • Diagnose and repair complex mechanical and electrical issues related to engines, fuel systems, electrical systems, hydrostatic systems, transmission systems, suspension systems, hydraulic systems, and more.
  • Work effectively with colleagues to ensure efficient completion of tasks and meet deadlines.
Requirements
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in heavy equipment mechanics.
  • Valid 310T certification.
  • Strong knowledge of Ministry of Transportation requirements for heavy equipment.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Compensation

The hourly rate for this position starts at $18.30 per hour, depending on experience and education.
