About the Role

Are you a dedicated and skilled Registered Mental Health Nurse looking for a challenging opportunity to grow with Jupiter Recruitment? We have an exciting job opening for a Deputy Ward Manager in a renowned mental health hospital located in North London.

Job Summary

We are seeking an exceptional individual to join our team as a Deputy Ward Manager. As a key member of our ward management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the ward, providing leadership and guidance to staff, and delivering high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical leadership and support to the ward team, promoting excellence in patient care and safety.
  • Develop and implement effective ward management strategies to improve patient outcomes and reduce risk.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports, adhering to relevant policies and procedures.
  • Foster strong relationships with colleagues, patients, and families, promoting open communication and collaboration.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A current active NMC Pin and registration as a Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN).
  • Proven experience working in inpatient mental health settings, with a strong understanding of mental health principles and practices.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire others.
  • A commitment to ongoing learning and professional development.
