We are on a mission to revolutionize the quality of education provided to young people with Special Education Needs (SEN)/Special Education Needs and Disabilities (SEND), as well as other needs such as Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate SEN/SEND Tutor to join our team at Targeted Provision Ltd. As a SEN/SEND Tutor, you will work with young people with a range of learning needs, including those with SEND, SEMH, Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD), Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD), and other Additional Educational Needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide one-to-one tuition to young people with SEND, SEMH, MLD, SLD, and other Additional Educational Needs
  • Develop and implement tailored learning plans to meet the individual needs of each young person
  • Work collaboratively with our SEN/SEND Support Team to ensure seamless support for each young person
  • Conduct regular progress reviews and provide feedback to young people and their families
Requirements
  • Professional Teaching Qualifications (Qualified Teacher Status/QTS/QTLS)
  • Minimum 2 years teaching experience
  • Experience working with young people with SEND, SEMH, MLD, SLD, and/or other Additional Educational Needs
  • Experience, knowledge, and understanding of safeguarding processes
  • Enhanced DBS (we can help obtain this at cost if needed)
  • Two professional references
