PCV/HGV Mechanic/Technician Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced PCV/HGV Mechanic/Technician to join our team at Stagecoach Stockport Depot. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing our modern fleet of vehicles to ensure our customers can travel safely and comfortably.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain and repair a variety of vehicles, including buses and trucks
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as oil changes and tire rotations
  • Diagnose and repair complex mechanical issues
  • Work collaboratively with other engineers to ensure efficient and effective maintenance
What We Offer:
  • A competitive hourly rate of £17.00, plus enhancements for working weekends
  • A guaranteed minimum of 38 hours per week, with potential for overtime
  • A comprehensive benefits package, including a generous company pension scheme and 28 days holiday (rising to 33 days with length of service)

Requirements:
  • Engineering background with a vehicular focus
  • Experience working on buses and trucks
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
