We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our team as an Apprentice in Childcare at our nursery in London. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and education to young children.
Key Responsibilities- Work collaboratively with our team to create and maintain a safe and supportive learning environment for children.
- Plan and implement activities to enhance children's development and learning.
- Interact positively with children, parents, and colleagues to ensure all children's individual needs are met.
- Adhere to nursery routines and policies, and seek guidance from leadership as needed.
- Manage time effectively to complete coursework and meet deadlines.
- NCFE CACHE Level 3 Diploma for the Early Years Workforce (Early Years Practitioner) qualification.
- Level 2 functional skills qualifications in maths and English, if not already held.
- Paediatric first aid qualification.
- A permanent contract as a qualified Nursery Practitioner upon successful completion of the apprenticeship.
- A full-time role (37.5 hours a week) working with children under 5 in our nursery.
- A varied shift pattern, usually between 07:15am-18:30pm Monday-Friday.
- 'Off the job' learning time within your working week to support your studies.
- A childcare trainer/assessor from our in-house Training Academy of Excellence.
- Regular group training sessions with other apprentices from across our partnership.
- An hourly pay rate of £10.00, increasing to £12.90 after 6 months.
- A 'congratulations' payment of £300 upon successful completion of the level 3 apprenticeship.
- The potential for an annual tax-free dividend payment.
- 'Recommend a friend' bonus of £1,000 for successful referrals.
- Childcare discount from day one.
- Fully paid enhanced DBS check.
