About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our team at Novus Property Solutions. As a Quantity Surveyor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful delivery of our construction projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor contract progress and assess any changes that may affect project costs and timelines.
  • Liaise with Contract Managers to establish project specifications and requirements.
  • Value and authorise payments to sub-contractors.
  • Assist in the control of contract budgets.
  • Prepare and monitor cash flow forecasts for designated projects.
  • Prepare and submit monthly applications for payment to clients.
  • Prepare monthly valuation reports.
  • Submit invoices for certified value and ensure timely payments.
  • Attend and contribute to meetings with work colleagues and clients, building relationships and demonstrating excellent communication skills.
  • Assist in the development of the procurement programme.
  • Assist in the preparation, processing, and selection of estimates, bids, and tenders.
About You

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Quantity Surveyor who has a strong background in the Social Housing sector. You will have excellent attention to detail, great written and verbal communication skills, and be an expert with IT, including proficient MS Office skills. A full UK driving licence is also essential for this role.
