About the Role

Mencap is seeking dedicated and compassionate individuals to join our team as Relief Support Workers in Gorleston and Caister-on-Sea.

Job Summary

As a Relief Support Worker, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact in the lives of individuals with learning disabilities. You will work with a diverse group of people, each with their own unique abilities and needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with daily activities and provide emotional support to individuals with learning disabilities.
  • Build meaningful relationships with service users and their families.
  • Work flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, to meet the needs of our services.
  • Provide a positive and empathetic attitude towards individuals with learning disabilities.

Requirements

  • A genuine passion for supporting others and making a positive difference in people's lives.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong relationships.
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
