Area Sales Manager - Exciting Opportunity in the East Midlands


Syntech Recruitment Ltd is seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Area Sales Manager to join their dynamic team in the East Midlands. In this role, you will be responsible for driving sales and profitability across the territory, focusing on both growing existing business and identifying new sales opportunities.


Key Responsibilities:



  • Achieve sales and profitability targets within the defined territory
  • Develop and manage customer relationships to foster business growth
  • Identify new sales opportunities, focusing on distribution channels and account acquisition
  • Work closely with internal teams to maximize business potential
  • Participate in sales meetings to present strategies and plans for territory development
  • Spend 90% of time in the field meeting with customers and developing new business opportunities
  • Collaborate with distributors and support their sales efforts
  • Provide regular reports and market feedback

Requirements:



  • Proven experience in territory sales management within technical sales
  • Strong relationship-building skills with internal and external stakeholders
  • Ability to manage time effectively, plan journeys, and use CRM systems for efficient territory management
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently under pressure
  • Ability to travel and, when necessary, stay overnight within the sales territory
