About the Role:

No prior experience is necessary, as comprehensive training is provided.

Working Hours:

36 hours per week.

06:00-16:00 / 4 shifts between Monday and Saturday.

Week 1: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday.

Week 2: Monday, Tuesday, Friday & Saturday.

Week 3: Wednesday, Thursday, Friday & Saturday.

About the Role:

As a Hatchery Operative, you'll work as part of the Hatchery Team, assisting with daily duties essential to our business.

  • Ensure chick welfare protocols are adhered to, e.g. vaccinations, health checks.
  • Ensure chicks are sorted into the required grades and quantities, ready for farm delivery.
  • Clean all equipment after use to the required high standards.
  • Safeguard bio security and follow strict procedures.
  • Observe bird welfare and health and safety on site at all times.

What are we looking for?

  • A good level of English and basic numeracy skills.
  • Good teamwork and communication skills.
  • Attention to detail and a flexible attitude to tasks.
  • Relevant experience is desirable, but not essential, as full training is provided.
