Electrical Engineer (Missile Architect) Role

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our Missile Electrical Architecture team at MBDA UK. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the advancement of missile defence systems.

Job Location: Stevenage or Bristol (Relocation assistance may be offered)

Working Arrangement: Full-time onsite role due to workload requirements

This is a critical position that involves specifying electrical requirements, defining interfaces, designing power architectures, and ensuring signal safety for cutting-edge missile projects. You will work closely with equipment suppliers, participate in testing activities, and contribute to various stages of missile development.

Responsibilities:
  • Developing electrical requirements for subsystems and equipment
  • Designing power architectures, including load budget and profiles
  • Defining data communication and processing architecture

This role is ideal for experienced engineers or those looking to enhance their engineering skills. A degree or equivalent qualification in electrical/electronic engineering or a related field is required. You may need to travel to suppliers, customers, and other MBDA sites in the UK and Europe.
