Job Summary

We're seeking a highly skilled and experienced Special Investigations Associate to join our Blockchain Threat Intelligence team. As a member of this team, you will be responsible for identifying and investigating potential threats to Coinbase's security and integrity.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct in-depth research and analysis of potential threats to Coinbase's security and integrity
  • Develop and implement strategies to mitigate and prevent potential threats
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address security vulnerabilities
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in blockchain technology and cryptocurrency markets
  • Provide expert guidance and support to internal stakeholders on security-related matters

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in a related field, such as cybersecurity, digital forensics, or threat intelligence
  • Proven track record of identifying and mitigating complex security threats
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and outside the box
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Strong knowledge of blockchain technology and cryptocurrency markets

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working with blockchain analytics tools and platforms
  • Knowledge of programming languages such as Python or Java
  • Experience with data analysis and visualization tools
  • Certifications in cybersecurity or digital forensics
