About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and ambitious Civil Engineer Manager to join our Manchester office. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in supporting technical delivery and contributing to the growth of our consultancy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Independently use appropriate design and analysis software, including CAD, to deliver high-quality projects.
  • Follow and contribute to Link Engineering procedures to ensure work is completed to the highest standard and adds value to our schemes.
  • Identify and manage risks within your area of responsibility, attending site visits to review project constraints and the construction process.
  • Lead and manage delivery of projects, liaising with clients and third parties, and identifying and responding to project commercial risks and opportunities.
  • Develop fee proposals and project cost estimates, upholding and assisting with the development and implementation of company policies and procedures.
  • Help promote the business and explore business development opportunities.
Requirements
  • A degree or HND in Civil Engineering.
  • Line management experience, including undertaking appraisals, identifying training, and ensuring performance of junior team members.
  • Experience working with local authorities, developers, and architects on civil engineering aspects of a range of schemes.
  • Civil engineering project management experience, including projects combining drainage, external works, and highways elements.
