Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Production Manager to join our team at Brambles. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for leading and managing all production activities on site, with a focus on driving continuous improvement and ensuring the highest levels of safety and quality.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and Manage Production Teams: You will be responsible for leading and managing a team of production staff, providing guidance and support to ensure they have the skills and resources needed to perform their roles effectively.
  • Implement Continuous Improvement: You will be responsible for identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes to increase efficiency, productivity, and quality.
  • Ensure Safety and Quality: You will be responsible for ensuring that all production activities are carried out in a safe and controlled manner, with a focus on preventing accidents and ensuring that all products meet the required quality standards.
  • Monitor and Report Performance: You will be responsible for monitoring and reporting on production performance, including metrics such as efficiency, productivity, and quality.
  • Develop and Implement Process Improvements: You will be responsible for developing and implementing process improvements to increase efficiency, productivity, and quality.
Requirements:
  • Experience in Production Management: You will have experience in production management, with a proven track record of leading and managing production teams.
  • Continuous Improvement Mindset: You will have a continuous improvement mindset, with a focus on identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes to increase efficiency, productivity, and quality.
  • Strong Leadership Skills: You will have strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team of production staff.
  • Excellent Communication Skills: You will have excellent communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with production staff, management, and other stakeholders.
  • Ability to Work in a Fast-Paced Environment: You will be able to work in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on meeting deadlines and delivering results.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Six Sigma Green Belt Qualification: You will have a Six Sigma Green Belt qualification or equivalent.
  • NEBOSH Qualified: You will be NEBOSH qualified or equivalent.
  • Lean-Based/CI Operational Experience: You will have experience in lean-based/CI operational roles.
  • Team and Shift Leadership Experience: You will have experience in team and shift leadership.
  • Quality-Focused Environment Experience: You will have experience working in a quality-focused environment.
