Arboriculture Specialist

We're seeking a skilled Arboriculture Inspector to join our Transportation team in Birmingham. As a key member of our Maintenance team, you'll provide specialist arboricultural services to support highway maintenance.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct thorough inspections of highway trees, ensuring tree safety and service standards are met.
- Offer expert arboriculture advice to the ISC highway maintenance service, driving informed decision-making.
- Respond to enquiries from the public, clients, and internal service areas, providing timely and accurate information.
- Raise works in our tree management system to fulfill maintenance needs for both reactive and planned works.
- Hold a Level 3/4 qualification in Arboriculture or a related discipline, along with Lantra Professional Tree Inspection certification.
- Experience in undertaking tree surveys and proficiency in using tree management software and mapping.
- Knowledge of current industry issues, pest and disease threats, and a good understanding of vegetation-related subsidence to buildings.
