Job Title: Field Service Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Field Service Engineer to join our team at Waters Corporation. As a Field Service Engineer, you will be responsible for providing technical expertise and support to our customers in the north of the UK.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide customer service, training, and technical support for our scientific instrumentation and software.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot customer problems, and assist with parts management issues.
  • Repair, install, and calibrate instruments for optimal performance.
  • Prepare reports, logs, and documentation of service and repair activities.
  • Establish and maintain prompt professional communications with customers and internal resources.
Qualifications:
  • Associates Degree in Engineering or a related field, or HNC/HND in Electronics/Engineering.
  • Proven experience with installation, performance maintenance, troubleshooting, support, and end-user utilization of scientific instrumentation.
Competencies:
  • Strong customer focus and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and make decisions quickly and decisively.
  • Effective time management skills and ability to multitask.
  • System-level approach to problem-solving and analytical mindset.
Travel:
  • A clean driving license and valid passport are required.
  • This is a territory-based position with occasional overnight travel.
