Role Overview:

As a Business Risk Assurance Consultant, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring compliance and enhancing operational standards within our organization. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting thorough compliance assessments of various business submissions.
  • Providing insights to Business Risk and Field Management regarding any issues identified during evaluations, facilitating constructive feedback to partners.
  • Leading project initiatives and conducting partner investigations as necessary.
  • Participating in regular meetings to maintain a unified approach across all support areas, while discussing potential improvements and necessary changes.
  • Upholding a consistent and acceptable level of service standards across the board.

Candidate Profile:

  • Proficient in computer applications, including MS Excel, Word, Outlook, and Teams.
  • Capable of performing intricate calculations related to Income Tax, Capital Gains Tax, Inheritance Tax, and annual lifetime pension allowances, along with analyzing ceding scheme data.
  • Skilled in proposing process enhancements to foster continuous improvement within the Business Assurance division, with the ability to adapt to regulatory changes.
  • Exemplary communication and relationship-building abilities, with a talent for conveying complex feedback in an understandable manner.
  • Resilient in the face of challenges, with the capacity to manage expectations effectively.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Possession of a CII Level 4 Diploma or having completed two examinations while working towards full qualification.
  • Willingness to work in-office on designated days during the initial six months.
  • A collaborative team player who enjoys problem-solving and working with others.
