Embedded Software Engineer Opportunity

RLE International is working on behalf of their Essex-based automotive client, who is seeking an Embedded Software Engineer to support their expanding team. Our client offers a wide range of unique opportunities to suit talented individuals in the automotive industry.

Position Overview:

The successful candidate will maintain and develop automotive software controls for the vehicle propulsion team. This role requires strong programming language knowledge and systems engineering skills from requirement definition to test and integration using simulated and target environments.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and maintain embedded software for automotive applications.
  2. Collaborate with the propulsion team to ensure software controls meet performance and safety standards.
  3. Utilize programming languages such as C++ and Matlab/Simulink to design and implement software solutions.

Requirements:

  1. Strong knowledge of embedded software development and systems engineering.
  2. Experience with Agile development methodologies and Jira.
  3. Degree in a software-related discipline or significant software experience.

Additional Information:

  1. **INSIDE IR35**
  2. Hybrid working arrangement, with on-site presence typically 3 days a week.
  3. Full valid UK driving license required.
