Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and maintain the academy site, including unlocking and locking the premises, ensuring the site is safe for staff, pupils, and visitors.
  • Carry out repairs and low-level maintenance jobs, as well as cleaning to a high standard.
  • Supervise and monitor the cleaning staff and their work, ensuring that the site is always clean and tidy.
  • Conduct regular health and safety checks and monitoring, identifying and addressing any potential hazards.
  • Develop and maintain good communication skills, working closely with staff, pupils, and visitors to ensure a positive and productive environment.
  • Be flexible and adaptable, with a willingness to work varied shifts and respond to changing circumstances.
