About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Paediatric Physiotherapist to lead our Special Schools Physiotherapy Service in Brent. As a key member of our therapy team, you will provide high-quality physiotherapy services to children and young people with physical needs in a variety of settings, including special schools, nurseries, and community clinics.

Main Responsibilities
  • Provide specialist physiotherapy assessments and devise client-centred treatment interventions for children and young people with physical needs.
  • Lead the Special Schools Physiotherapy Service, providing a leadership role to SEN pathways for preschool and school-age children and young people.
  • Support staff through appraisal and in-service training, contributing to the development of physiotherapy clinical pathways and care packages.
  • Coordinate physiotherapy services to children and young people transitioning from preschool to school and into adult services.

Requirements
  • Degree/Diploma in Physiotherapy.
  • Valid Health and Care Professions Council Registration.
  • Relevant post-registration specialist education.
  • Member of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy.
Desirable
  • Member of the Association of Paediatric Chartered Physiotherapists.
  • Supervisory/leadership skills training.
