Job Title: Fire and Security Project Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Fire and Security Project Manager to join our team at Get Staff. As a Fire and Security Project Manager, you will be responsible for the delivery of projects from receipt of order through to handover.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Liaise with colleagues and clients on distribution/material scheduling, phasing, and programming requirements
  • Ensure all major suppliers and manufacturers comply with the proposal, instruct order placement and check acknowledgements are within set budgets reporting any losses or gains
  • Manage labour, subcontractors, and operational service delivery, ensuring compliance with specification and contract documentation
  • Attend contract site meetings and prepare required client reports
  • Organise site establishments, storage offices, plant, equipment, and consumables required to complete works, all within budget
  • Assist in the preparation and issue of Financial Progress Reports (FPR) by providing a written report on material variances and final cost forecasts for both labour and materials
  • Ensure that health and safety policies and procedures are adhered to
  • Organise the testing and commissioning of installations and complete the commissioning manual before handover
  • Undertake the assessment of specialist works to be subcontracted, conduct interviews and assist in placing any subcontract orders within set budget limits. Assist in the managing of subcontractor accounts.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a Fire and Security Project Manager
  • Technical knowledge of a variety of fire and security systems
  • In depth knowledge of current and appropriate fire and life safety regulations
  • Demonstrate a commercial awareness within the Fire and Security industry
