Job Title: Group Exercise Instructor

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Group Exercise Instructor to join our team at Colchester City Council. As a Group Exercise Instructor, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality group exercise classes to our members, promoting a healthy and active lifestyle.

About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity to work with a dynamic team and contribute to the delivery of our group exercise program. You will be responsible for creating a motivating and engaging environment for our members, providing expert instruction and coaching to help them achieve their health and fitness goals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver high-quality group exercise classes to our members
  • Develop and implement new class programs and formats
  • Provide expert instruction and coaching to members
  • Contribute to the development of our group exercise program
  • Work collaboratively with the team to achieve program goals
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess a CIMSPA Fitness / Exercise to Music Level 2 qualification or equivalent, as well as relevant experience in delivering group exercise classes. You will also need to demonstrate strong customer engagement, good communication skills, and a genuine passion for health and wellness.
