Volunteer Companion

We are seeking a compassionate and reliable individual to join our team as a Volunteer Befriender at our residential care service for adults with Learning disabilities in Oakley, Bedford.

As a Volunteer Befriender, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact in the lives of our residents by accompanying them on day trips and providing companionship and support.

Key responsibilities include:

• Accompanying residents on day trips to local attractions and activities
• Providing companionship and support to residents in a residential care setting
• Assisting with daily activities and tasks as needed

We are looking for someone who is:

• Committed to providing high-quality care and support
• Reliable and punctual
• Friendly and approachable
• A confident driver with a full, clean driving licence
