Manpower UK - RISE is seeking a skilled and experienced HGV Technician to join our esteemed client's dynamic team. Key Responsibilities:- Lead routine maintenance and repairs on heavy goods vehicles, focusing on senior-level expertise and adhering to stringent manufacturer specifications.
- Apply advanced diagnostic skills to efficiently troubleshoot mechanical issues, ensuring optimal fleet functionality.
- Proactively respond to emergency call-outs, providing effective leadership during breakdowns and setting an example for the team.
- Collaborate with the team, offering senior-level guidance and expertise to ensure the highest standards of industrial vehicle maintenance and service.
- Proven experience as a HGV Mechanic in a similar role, highlighting advanced proficiency and a strong commitment to excellence.
- Education to City and Guilds standard in Mechanical Engineering or a related field, demonstrating a solid foundation in industrial vehicle maintenance.
- Possession of a comprehensive set of advanced tools for performing tasks at a senior level, ensuring the highest standards of workmanship.
- Willingness to undergo drug and alcohol testing, upholding the organization's commitment to a safe and healthy work environment.
- A valid driver's license and proficiency in using a company-provided van, recognizing the importance of reliable transportation for job-related tasks.
- Flexibility to work overtime as required, acknowledging the demands of the role and the need for senior-level commitment.
- Competitive salary, up to £65k per annum, reflective of extensive senior-level experience and expertise.
