CNC Programmer Job Description

We are seeking a skilled CNC Programmer to join our team at Workforce Staffing Ltd. As a CNC Programmer, you will be responsible for creating programs from customer drawings using Fusion360, setting up and operating Haas CNC Mills, and interpreting technical drawings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Creating programs from customer drawings with Fusion360
  • Set up and operate Haas Mills to perform various machining operations on a range of materials, including steel, aluminium, and plastic
  • Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications to determine machining operations and set-up requirements
  • Adjust machine settings and tool offsets as necessary to maintain product quality and consistency
  • Inspect finished parts using precision measuring instruments, such as micrometres and gauges, to ensure compliance with customer requirements
  • Maintain machine cleanliness, troubleshoot issues, and perform routine maintenance as necessary

Requirements:

  • Proficiency in setting up and operating CNC machines (Preferably HAAS)
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings and work with precision tools
  • Knowledge of machining processes and quality control procedures
  • Experience using Fusion 360 & Solidworks for CAD and CAM
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment
