Position Overview:
Import Coordinator
Key Responsibilities:
- Engaging with diverse customers, suppliers, and subcontractors, including shipping lines, transporters, and storage facilities.
- Creating and managing internal documentation.
- Generating invoices for services rendered.
- Reviewing supplier invoices and addressing discrepancies as needed.
- Monitoring shipment arrivals.
- Coordinating collections and deliveries to adhere to customer timelines.
- Conducting follow-ups post-delivery to ensure customer satisfaction.
Qualifications:
- A proven track record of at least two years in a similar role within a small to medium-sized freight forwarding company.
- Experience in importing live animals is a plus.
- Specialization in air freight operations.
- Exceptional attention to detail.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel.
- A collaborative team player with a dynamic approach.
Compensation and Benefits:
- Standard working hours from Monday to Friday.
- Salary range: £30,000 - £35,000.
- Provision of a company laptop.
- Overtime opportunities with additional compensation.
