Commerical Director

This is a senior finance and procurement role that requires a strong finance professional with experience in budget management, data analysis, and procurement. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of driving teams towards targets and working closely with commercial partners to ensure robust governance and compliance processes.

• We are seeking a Senior Finance and Procurement Manager to join our team at AWE Plc, located between Reading and Basingstoke.
• The successful candidate will work closely with all areas of science alongside our finance and commercial partners to ensure robust governance and compliance processes whilst providing critical assurance to the Executive Director of Science.

1. To develop and implement strategic procurement plans to achieve cost savings and improve supply chain efficiency.
2. To lead cross-functional teams to drive business growth and improvement initiatives.
3. To analyze data and provide actionable insights to inform business decisions.
4. To build and maintain strong relationships with commercial partners to drive business growth and development.

• A minimum of 5 years' experience in finance and procurement, preferably in a similar role.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team to drive business growth and improvement initiatives.
