Total Care Recruitment is proud to be an approved agency in Northern Ireland, partnering with the Belfast Trust to provide high-quality healthcare staff.
We are currently seeking full-time Band 2 Healthcare Assistants for day shifts in Belfast Trust hospitals. Positions are available Monday to Friday, offering flexible hours to suit your schedule.
Job Summary: We are looking for compassionate and skilled individuals to deliver person-centered care in hospital settings. Working under the supervision of Registered Nurses, you will assist in providing a high standard of care, ensuring patients dignity, respect, and consent are maintained.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct personal care and follow agreed care plans.
- Assist patients with daily activities, including personal hygiene, mobility, eating, and drinking.
- Record and report care activities to the nurse-in-charge.
- Support with patients belongings, laundry, and meal preparation.
- Participate in maintaining a clean, safe environment and assist with nutritional support.
- Deliver high standards of practice, including end-of-life care, with compassion and professionalism.
- Uphold confidentiality, teamwork, and a patient-focused approach.
Essential Criteria:
- NVQ Level 2 or Level 3 in Health & Social Care (or equivalent).
- Experience in providing direct patient care in a healthcare setting.
- Willingness to complete training and comply with regulatory requirements.
Estimated Salary: £22,000 - £25,000 per year, depending on experience.
