Job Title: Higher Level Teaching Assistant

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistant to join our dedicated team at Wayman Learning Trust. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to make a real impact on the learning experience of our students.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting class teachers in the planning and delivery of lessons, ensuring all students are fully engaged and supported. This will involve delivering lessons and leading small groups of students in focused learning activities to promote progress in key areas.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supporting class teachers in the planning and delivery of lessons
  • Delivering lessons and leading small groups of students in focused learning activities
  • Assisting with the assessment of students' learning and helping to monitor progress against individual goals
  • Providing support to students with additional learning needs, ensuring they receive the necessary interventions to succeed
  • Supporting the management of classroom behavior, helping to maintain a positive and productive learning environment
Requirements
  • An experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistant with a passion for education and supporting children's learning
  • Ability to deliver lessons and work independently with small groups of students
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build positive relationships with students, staff, and parents
  • Previous experience working in a school setting, with a strong understanding of the primary curriculum
  • A clear DBS check and legal right to work within the UK
