Job Description:

The Commercial Officer will play a crucial role in the management of contracts and the supply of services to our clients in the aerospace and defence industry. The successful candidate will have experience in contracts management and a strong understanding of commercial and contract models.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage contracts from capture through to proposal, contract award, and all associated contract administration.
  • Ensure compliance with terms and conditions and identify and implement contract revisions.
  • Organise and maintain contract files, ensuring consistency with agreed negotiations.
  • Ensure the flow down of prime contract commercial requirements to suppliers.

Requirements:

  • Experience in a similar contracts management role.
  • Strong knowledge of commercial/contract models and risk management.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills.
  • Previous experience in MOD/Defence contracts management.
  • Ability to support capture management and bids is desirable.
