About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Lifts and Escalators Asset Delivery Specialist to join our team at ENGINEERINGUK. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing, maintaining, and renewing lifts and escalators assets across our network.

As a key member of our team, you will provide compliant service, introduce optimised whole life cost assets, and ensure the best availability of assets when needed. You will also deliver mandatory and supplementary inspections within timescales, employ an asset management approach, and support the team in achieving business and functional objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the delivery of lifts and escalators maintenance and project work to achieve business and functional objectives and meet key performance measures.
  • Assist in monitoring and maintaining all safety requirements relating to the delivery of lifts and escalators maintenance and project works are discharged by contractors.
  • Provide information to update systems, databases, and records.
  • Assist in the measurement and evaluation of the commercial value of payments, monitoring the correct certification of works prior to authorisation in accordance with contractual obligations.
  • Monitor contractor performance indicators and provide periodic progress reports.
  • Maintain that all work and safety records are completed by the contractor, and properly retained.
Requirements
  • Knowledge of contracts management.
  • Ability to work to deadlines.
  • Good problem-solving skills.
  • Commercial awareness.
  • Basic negotiation skills with ability to influence decision-making.
  • Computer literate including ability to utilise in-house and external software.
What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary of £30,000 - £35,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus a range of benefits including 28 days annual leave + bank holidays, 75% discount off leisure travel, and access to our pension schemes.
