Woodlands Care Home is seeking a skilled Activities Coordinator to join our team on a bank contract basis. As an Activities Coordinator, you will work closely with the Home Manager to plan and implement activities that cater to the residents' needs and requests.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and organize a range of events and activities that promote resident engagement and well-being.
- Collaborate with the Home Manager to ensure activities align with the home's goals and objectives.
- Provide excellent customer service and maintain positive relationships with residents, families, and staff.
- Contribute to a safe and inclusive environment that promotes dignity and respect for all residents.
- Work effectively as part of a team to achieve shared goals and objectives.
Requirements:
- At least 1 year of experience in an activities or care environment.
- Proven ability to develop and implement engaging activities that cater to diverse resident needs.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Confident and friendly demeanor with a genuine interest in working with the elderly.
