About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Geotechnical Engineer or Senior Geotechnical Engineer to join our team at AtkinsRéalis. As a leading geotechnical consultancy, we offer a comprehensive service in ground engineering, with a strong focus on delivering high-quality projects that meet our clients' needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and lead geotechnical design teams to deliver projects across various sectors, including infrastructure, energy, and construction.
  • Conduct finite element modelling and analysis using software such as PLAXIS2D/3D and Geostudio.
  • Apply CDM Regulations in design and ground investigation environments.
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their requirements and deliver tailored solutions.
  • Manage projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality results.

Requirements

  • Chartered status with the ICE or nearing chartered status.
  • Strong academic background in civil engineering with a postgraduate qualification in geotechnical subjects.
  • Proven experience in geotechnical design, project management, and team leadership.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients and colleagues.
  • Good commercial awareness and ability to negotiate and manage contracts.
