About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and safety-focused individual to join our team as a Warehouse Key Operative. As a key member of our warehouse team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient and accurate picking and despatching of orders, while maintaining a safe working environment for everyone on site.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure safe working practices are adopted and observed at all times to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Coordinate the picking and despatching of orders to meet customer requirements.
  • Implement and maintain warehouse procedural controls and processes to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and Wincanton requirements.
  • Support and lead a team function within the warehouse to deliver excellent customer service in terms of quality, cost, and lead time.
  • Proactively identify opportunities to enhance and improve current processes to drive efficiency and productivity.
